OVER 40 YEARS IN BUSINESS
About Dick Marshall:
Marshall's started business on January 7, 1970 at 193 Fall St. in Seneca Falls, NY. A special thanks to Marino Giovannini and Bob Wright in assisting me to get started.
My business was an Atlantic Gas Station and automobile repair shop. A few years down the road Atlantic was changed to Arco.
I made several changes to my business; one was the first and "only" automatic car wash in the Village of Seneca Falls. A convenience store was added that sold milk, bread, soda and ice. Gas at that time sold for 29.9 cents per gallon.
In 1978 I purchased East Motors at 325 Fall St. thanks to Paul Whitaker. A car wash, a radiator repair and towing service were added. During the same time period I started a similar business located in Ovid, NY, one on Rt. 89 in Seneca Falls, and a Texaco Gas Station at 157 E. Main St. in Waterloo, NY.
In 1990 I had a new facility built at our current location to do auto repair and sell pre-owned used cars.
